About Petter Solberg
In 2003, he won the World Rally Championships in both rally and rallycross. Early in his career, he teamed with the Subaru World Rally Team, and in 2009, he created the Petter Solberg World Rally Team.
Petter Solberg is a former professional Norwegian racer and racer. Solberg made his debut in the world racing championship in 1998 and was contracted by Ford works in 1999. The following year, Solberg began a successful partnership with the Subaru World Rally team. With the Subaru team, Solberg finished second behind Marcus Grönholm in 2002, then became the first Norwegian to win the world championship title in 2003. Over the next two seasons, he finished second against Sébastien Loeb. After Subaru retired from the WRC at the end of the 2008 season, Solberg was privately backed to start the Petter Solberg World Rally Team and faced off against a Citroën Xsara WRC, a Citroën C4 WRC and a Citroën DS3 WRC. He entered racing after the 2012 season and in 2014 became the first winner of the FIA World Racing Championships, having won the race five times and finished on the podium nine times. He successfully repeated his title the following year.
