Actor and director from Bollywood who has worked in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil films, including the smash Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana. Known as the Indian Michael Jackson, he has appeared in Wanted, Pokkiri, and Rowdy Rathore.
Prabhu Deva is an Indian choreographer, director, producer and actor who has worked primarily in films in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. Over the course of a 32-year career, he has performed and designed a variety of dance styles and won two National Film Awards for Best Choreographer. In 2019, he received the Padma Shri Award for his contributions to the field of dance. Starting with a string of roles in the 1990s and early 2000s, Prabhu Deva starred in a number of commercially successful films including Kadhalan, Love Birds, Minsara Kanavu, and VIP. Following even more critically acclaimed performances in comedy Kaathala Kaathala, family drama Vanathai Pola, and romantic dramas Pennin Manathai Thottu and Alli Thandha Vaanam. Deva then failed to replicate the success of his previous films and his box office value began to decline, and then he appeared in supporting roles in Tamil.
