Park Jae-sang, known by his stage name Psy, is a South Korean singer, rapper, musician and record producer. Psy is known nationally for his humorous videos and stage and international performances with his single "Gangnam Style". On October 23, 2012, Psy met with United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. at the headquarters of the United Nations. where Ban expressed his desire to work with the male singer due to his "unlimited global reach". On December 21, 2012, her music video for "Gangnam Style" surpassed one billion views on YouTube, becoming the first to do so in the site's history. Psy was later recognized by the media as "the king of YouTube". On May 31, 2014, Psy's "Gangnam Style" video reached two billion views. As of November 2020, it is the eighth most viewed video on YouTube, with over 3.8 billion views.
