Colombian striker also known as Falcao Garcia, who joined AS Monaco in 2013 following two years at Atlético Madrid. He has had loan spells with Manchester United and Chelsea FC. He signed a three-year contract with Galatasaray in Turkey in September 2019.
Radamel Falcao García Zárate is a Colombian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Turkish club Galatasaray and captain of the Colombian national team. He is sometimes nicknamed "El Tigre" or "King of the Europa League". During his prime, he was considered one of the best strikers in the world. Falcao started his professional career in the Colombian second division at the age of 13 at Lanceros Boyacá, before joining Argentinian club River Plate, where he played with their youth academy for a few years, then won the Clausura award. 2007-08. In 2009 he joined Portuguese club Porto, where he won a number of trophies including the Europa League and the Primeira Liga in 2011. Falcao became their all-time top scorer in international tournaments at the level of the clubs and set the record for most goals scored in a European campaign. He also became the first Colombian to receive the Portuguese Golden Ball award.
