About Raghava Lawrence

Lawrence won four Filmfare Awards and three Nandi Awards for his choreographic work on the Telugu films Annayya, Indra, and Style, as well as the Tamil film Paarthale Paravasam, between 2000 and 2006. He worked on Chala Bagundi, Rebel, and a number of other productions as an actor and director.

Raghava Lawrence is an Indian choreographer who has also worked in films as an actor, director, musician, dancer and book-reading singer. After debuting as a choreographer in 1993, he began looking for acting opportunities. He started his acting career in 1998, in a Telugu film. He took the stage name "Raghava" in 2001 and has worked for many famous Tamil film actors and directors throughout his career. He got a breakthrough with the Telugu Style movie, then there was Muni. Lawrence is also known for his hip-hop and Western dance moves and has won four Filmfare awards and three Nandi awards for Best Choreography. In 2015, after the death of former President of India A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, Lawrence set up a charity of his own name and donated ₹ 1 crore.
