Rajon Pierre Rondo is an American professional basketball player with the National Basketball Association's Los Angeles Clippers National Basketball Team. Rondo played two years of college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats before being included in the 21st team by the Phoenix Suns in the 2006 NBA Draft. He then transferred to the Celtics, where he played a role of support in his rookie season. Rondo, a four-time NBA All-Star Champion, has led the tournament in assists per game three times. He was named to the All-NBA third team in 2011–12 and won four All-NBA Defense Team titles, twice in the first team. While in Boston, Rondo helped the Celtics advance to the 2008 and 2010 NBA Finals, winning the 2008 Championship as a starting point guard. Rondo has long been known as an elite NBA fan, ranking fourth in Celtics history in assists and third in interceptions.
