Walter Ray Allen Jr is a former American professional basketball player. He played 18 seasons in the National Basketball Association and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as a player in September 2018. Allen played college basketball for the Connecticut Huskies during three seasons, known as effective long-range shooter. He entered the NBA in 1996 as the fifth master selection. In the NBA, he became the top scorer for the Milwaukee Bucks, alongside Glenn Robinson and Sam Cassell as the team successfully won the play-offs. However, the trio were unable to win the championship and Allen was transferred to the Seattle SuperSonics. In Seattle, Allen's reputation as a table hunter strengthened even more; He's going to break some tournament records on three-pointers and free throws. Despite this, Allen was still missing a title, and he was transferred to the Boston Celtics in 2007 .
