Richard Thomas Osman is an English television presenter, producer, comedian and writer best known for being the creator and co-host of the BBC One Pointless TV Quiz. He also featured two quiz shows for BBC Two Tribes and Richard Osman's House of Games and served as team captain on the comedy shows Insert Name Here and The Fake News Show. He has been recognized for having attended numerous seminars in the UK. Osman worked at Hat Trick Productions with Ben Smith before becoming Creative Director of TV production company Endemol UK, producing shows such as Prize Island for ITV and Deal or No Deal for Channel 4.
