He is best known as a member of the hip hop trio N-Dubz, released three studio albums and won numerous MOBO awards with the group. Rawson said that as he grew up, the people who had the greatest influence on him were Tupac Shakur, Biggie, Rakim, T.I. and Jay-Z.
