Robert William Savage is a Welsh football expert. During his career, he played mainly in midfield, starting as a young Manchester United player before joining Crewe Alexandra after failing to reach Old Trafford. He became a regular Leicester City player in the late 1990s and early 2000s, and played a similar role for Birmingham City and Blackburn Rovers. In 2008, he moved to Derby County; After a short loan stint with Brighton & Hove Albion later that year, he returned to the Derby captain, who ended his competitive career.
