This jazz pianist and music producer is most known for his Grammy-winning R&B album Black Radio, but he has released several other albums on the Blue Note label, including Canvas, In My Element, and Double-Booked.
Robert Andre Glasper is an American pianist, record producer, songwriter and composer with a career that connects genres of music and art. To date, Glasper has won three Grammy Awards and received nine nominations in five categories, while also winning the 2017 Primetime Emmy Award for Original Music and Best Song Lyrics for her song in the third documentary film. 13 Ava DuVernay's critically acclaimed critics, with Common and Karriem Riggins. Glasper's Black Radio crossover album won a Grammy for Best R&B Album in 2013, and after that success he performed various popular albums, including playing keyboards on To Pimp a Butterfly's Kendrick Lamar and another Grammy winner for "These Walls". Black Radio's ongoing album series has since become Glasper's calling card, with guests including Yasiin Bey, Bilal, Ledisi, Lupe Fiasco, Jill Scott and Erykah Badu.
