Robert Neil Sandberg, known professionally as R. N. Sandberg is an American playwright and professor of English at Princeton University. A graduate of Upper Darby High School, Sandberg received a B.A. from Princeton University in 1990 and M.F.A. from the Yale Drama School at Yale University in 1997. Sandberg's plays have been performed in Australia, Canada, Great Britain, Japan, Panama and South Korea as well as throughout the United States. Children's Theater, Fulton Opera House, Idaho Shakespeare Festival, Indiana Representative, Intiman Theater, The Kitchen Dog, La Mama, New York Musical Theater Festival, New York State Theater Institute, Open Eye, Providence Black Representative, Seattle Representative, Stage One: Louisville Yale Children's Theater, Performance Theater and Cabaret. Sandberg has won several awards for his work. Incredibly won the 1090 National Playwright Award from Bonderman.
