On April 8, 2015, at the age of 20, he became the youngest pitcher to participate in an organization game and the first player born in 1995 to play in Major League Baseball. In 2017, he was All Star of the American Federation. In 2018, he was suspended for 75 games for violating the federation's policy on domestic assault. In 2019, he led the American League with 38 saves.
