Star striker who joined Manchester United in 2012 and was chosen captain of the Netherlands in 2013. He formerly played for Arsenal from 2004 until 2012, making 194 games and scored 96 goals.
Robin van Persie is a Dutch coach and former professional soccer player who used to play as a striker. Considered one of the best strikers of his generation, he is the all-time top scorer for the Dutch men's national team. He is currently the assistant manager at childhood club Feyenoord in his first managerial role. Van Persie made his senior debut for Feyenoord in the 2001–02 season, culminating in a victory in the 2002 UEFA Cup final; He was also honored as Dutch football talent of the year. After five years with Feyenoord, he failed with coach Bert van Marwijk and joined England club Arsenal in 2004 for £ 2.75million as a permanent replacement for compatriot Dennis Bergkamp.
