Robson de Souza, also known as Robinho, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a striker and is a convicted sex offender. In 1999, at the age of 15, Robinho was chosen by Brazilian legend Pelé as his alleged heir and, in 2002, led Santos FC to his first championship at Campeonato Brasileiro since Pelé himself played for club. He has won his second title with Santos and two more with Spanish club Real Madrid. He won the Italian Serie A championship in his first season at Milan. Robinho has won a Copa América title and two FIFA Confederations Cups with the Brazilian national team, and has played two FIFA World Cups. In November 2017, an Italian court convicted Robinho of sexual assault in the January 2013 gang rape against a 22-year-old Albanian at a Milan nightclub.
