Roger Harry Daltrey is an English singer, songwriter, actor and film producer. He is the co-founder and lead singer of rock band The Who. Daltrey's hit songs with Who include "My Generation", "Pinball Wizard", "W Don't Get Fooled Again", "Baba O'Riley" and "You Better You Bet". He began his solo career in 1973, while still being a member of Who. He has since released 10 solo studio albums, 5 compilation albums and a live album. His solo hits include "Giving It All Away", "Walking the Dog", "Written on the Wind", "Free Me", "Without Your Love" and "Under a Raging Moon". Considered one of the most influential rock groups of the 20th century, they have sold over 100 million records worldwide. As a member of the group, Daltrey received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the British Recording Industry in 1988 and the Grammy Foundation in 2001. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 and the Music Hall of Fame of the UK in 2005 .
