Roger Thomas Staubach, nicknamed "Roger the Dodger," "Captain America" ββand "Captain Comeback", is a former American professional football player who served as midfielder for the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football Federation. . He attended the United States Naval Academy, where he won the Heisman Cup in 1963, and after graduating he served in the US Navy, including a stint in Vietnam. Staubach joined Dallas in 1969 and played with the club for all 11 seasons of his career. He has led the team to the Super Bowl five times, four times as the starting midfielder. He led Cowboys to win in Super Bowl VI and Super Bowl XII. Staubach was named Super Bowl VI's MVP, becoming the first of four players to win both the Heisman Trophy and Super Bowl MVP, along with Jim Plunkett, Marcus Allen and Desmond Howard. He was named to the Pro Bowl six times during his 11-year NFL career. He was Executive Chairman of Jones Lang LaSalle until his retirement in 2018
