Former Munster fly-half who became one of the most prolific scorers in international and Six Nations rugby. Later in his career, he went on to coach Racing 92 and the Crusaders of Super Rugby as an assistant coach.

Ronan John Ross O'Gara is a former Irish rugby union player and current coach. O'Gara plays as a half-butterfly and is Ireland's second-most jersey and highest scorer in history. He is currently La Rochelle's head coach in France's top 14. O'Gara has 128 caps for Ireland, won three crowns and Grand Slam in 2009. He has also participated in three tournaments by the British and Irish Lion, winning two caps for the team. He has played for sixteen seasons with Munster, with whom he has won two Heineken Cups. O'Gara is the eighth highest scorer and the fourth highest scorer in the history of experimental rugby. He is also Munster's all-time top scorer and holds the Heineken Cup record for points and caps. O'Gara has scored a number of winning goals for the Republic of Ireland, including in the 78th minute of a game between Wales and Ireland in the 2009 Six Country Championship, in which Ireland won the Grand Slam.
