In his rookie season, he became the Miami Dolphins' starting quarterback after being selected eighth overall in the 2012 NFL Draft. He joined the Tennessee Titans in 2019 and was named 2019 NFL Comeback Player of the Year after leading the Titans to the playoffs.
Ryan Timothy Tannehill III is the American winger for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League. He played college football at Texas A&M, from broad reciever to the team's starting midfield position. He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft. Tannehill spent six of seven years with the Dolphins as a starting midfielder, the longest time in the role since Dan Marino, before being traded to Tennessee after the 2018 season. 2-4, Tannehill was named the Titans' starting midfielder in Week 7 of the 2019 season; he then led the team to the AFC Championship game, where they lost to the Super Bowl champions of the Kansas City captain's final. With his style of play, Tannehill was named the first Pro Bowl of his career as well as the NFL Returning Player of the Year.
