Ryan Wallace Zimmerman was the first professional American baseball team basketball player and third basketball player for the Washington National Baseball League baseball team. Zimmerman graduated from Kellam High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and played varsity baseball at the University of Virginia. His nickname is “Mr. National ”because he has been a member of the team since his debut on September 1, 2005 and was the team's first draft option when the Major League Baseball franchise moved from Montreal. Zimmerman was selected in the first round as the nation's fourth total player in the 2005 Major League Draft Baseball Tournament. He is known for his shots and clutch shots.
