Iranian actress who became the center of a cultural firestorm when, in 2015, she posted pictures of herself without a hijab to social media in protest of Iran's laws requiring the traditional garb. No Where No Body, a film she directed in 2013, is one of her most well-known works.

Sadaf Taherian is an Iranian model and former actor. She has appeared in Iranian cinema and television. After leaving the country, Sadaf posted undisclosed photos of herself on Facebook, and Instagram was denounced by Iran's Ministry of Culture and Policy. Taherian started her modeling career after leaving her hometown of Iran. She is currently working with many cosmetics, beauty and wellness companies as a model in countries such as Turkey and the United Arab Emirates. She is fluent in Persian, Turkish and English.
