Sage Kotsenburg is an American snowboarder. He won his first Olympic gold medal in men's snowboarding at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia, and became the first gold medalist at the Games. Kotsenburg won a silver medal in snowboarding at the XVI Olympic Winter Games 2012 in Aspen, Colorado, behind Mark McMorris. Kotsenburg won a bronze medal in the Snowboard Big Air game at the 2011 XV Winter Games in Aspen, Colorado, behind Torstein Horgmo and Sébastien Toutant.
