Samantha Jane Barks is an actress and singer Manxist, who has appeared on stage, screen and television. She rose to fame after being third on the BBC's talent show-themed TV series I'll Do Anything in 2008. In 2012, she starred alongside Jonathan Bailey on the Groove High series. of Disney Channel, and her film debut as Eponine in the film version of the musical Les Miserables. Her performance in Les Misérables was widely acclaimed and received a nomination for the Screen Actors Association Award for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in Film, Satellite Award for Supporting Actress Best - Film Critics Association Award for Best Acting Group, won the Empire Award for Best New Actress and shared the National Judging Council's Best Actor award.
