He is best known for his time as the head football coach of the University of Central Florida Knights, which he led to an undefeated regular season in 2017. He formerly worked as an offensive coordinator for Mark Helfrich and Chip Kelly at the University of Oregon Ducks.
Scott Andrew Frost is an American football coach and former player as the Nebraska Cornhuskers head coach. Prior to Nebraska, Frost was UCF's head coach during the Knights 13–0, 2017 season. Frost's tenure in Nebraska has so far been significantly less successful than his tenure at UCF; Frost became the first Nebraska manager to post his first losing streak record since Bill Jennings from 1957 to 1959. Prior to becoming a manager, Frost played football on a large scale, in school and professionally. Frost was the starting midfielder for the Nebraska National Championship team in 1997. He also spent six years in the National Football League, playing primarily for special teams.
