Scott Carlos Gomez is a former professional American ice hockey player and coach. He is the assistant coach of the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League. Gomez had previously played in the NHL with the New Jersey Devils, New York Rangers, Montreal Canadiens, San Jose Sharks, Florida Panthers, St. Louis Blues and Ottawa Senators.
