Scott Richard Hoying is an American singer, songwriter, choreographer and baritone musician from Arlington, Texas, who gained international attention as the founder and performer of two groups; The cappella Pentatonix quintet collective and the Superfruit duo. In May 2020, Pentatonix released 10 albums, 2 of which lead, four songs entered the Billboard Hot 100 and won 3 Grammy Awards as "The First Cappella Band to Succeed. Mainstream in the Modern Market." As of February 2019, Superfruit's YouTube channel had over 2.4 million subscribers and over 392 million views. Since 2016, Hoying has lived in Hollywood, California.
