Sergio Francisco Romo is a professional Mexican-American baseball pitcher for the Oakland Baseball League baseball team. Previously, he played for the San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Dodgers, Tampa Bay Rays, Miami Marlins and Minnesota Twins. A right-hander has played a bigger role in his career, his main pitch being the cursor. Born in Brawley, California, Romo grew up to be a Dodgers fan. He attended four colleges and was drafted by Giants to round 28 of the 2005 draft. He reached major tournaments in 2008 and appeared in 45 games for the Giants in 2009. In 2010, he became the setter for the Giants closer to Brian Wilson when the Giants won the 2010 World Series. He achieved an average of 1.50 points earned in 2011, then coming closest. with the Giants in 2012, scoring three saves in the 2012 World Series when the Giants took the title.
