Shane Andre Mosley, commonly known as "Sugar" Shane Mosley, is a former professional American boxer who competed from 1993 to 2016. He has hosted several world championships. in three weight classes, including the IBF light belt; titles WBA and WBC, weight-grade welding; and light headlines in WBA, WBC and Ring journals. He is also a former champion of the semi-linear and light midsize line. In 1998, the American Association of Boxing Writers named Mosley Boxer of the Year. He received the same honor by the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2000. In 2000 and 2001, he was named the most active boxer in the world by The Ring.
