He rose to fame as Swayam on the teen drama series Dil Dosti Dance, and he is an Indian actor and dancer. As a member of the Desi Hoppers dance group, he won the World of Dance Championship in 2015.
Shantanu Maheshwari is an Indian actor, dancer, choreographer and presenter. He made his debut on Channel V's Dil Dosti Dance show in his groundbreaking performance as protagonist Swayam Shekhawat. In 2017, he joined Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 and became the winner. Maheshwari is a member of the Desi Hoppers dance team that won the 2015 World Dance Championship in Los Angeles. In 2016, together with his team Desi Hoppers, he gave a special performance on America's Got Talent. Maheshwari is known for his roles in various fantasy shows like Girls on Top on MTV India. He was a famous contestant in the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa contest on Colors TV, where he became runner-up in 2016. Maheshwari will premiere the big movie with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi, starring Alia Bhatt.
