Sharon Lorencia Horgan is an Irish actress, writer, comedian and producer. She is known for her comedy series Tug of War and Catastrophe, which she played and co-wrote. She also created the HBO Divorce comedy series. Horgan won the 2008 British Comedy Award for Best Television Actress for Pulling, while the 2009 show's hour-long final episode won the British Comedy Award for Comedian. Seven-time nominee for the BAFTA Television Award, she won the 2016 BAFTA Television Award for Best Comedian for a Disaster and was nominated for the 2016 Primetime Emmy Award for Best Writing for a Comedy. Horgan has also won five Irish Film and Television Awards in Comedy and Drama Writing for his work in Disaster. Horgan has appeared in the films Valiant, Imagine Me & You, Man Up, and Game Night.
