Shea Michael Weber is a Canadian professional ice hockey defender and captain of the Montreal National Hockey League. He is a star player in the NHL and a two-time Olympic gold medal. He is known to have one of the hardest hits in hockey history. Drafted in the second, 49 final round, by Nashville Predators in NHL Draft 2003, Weber spent his entire NHL career with Predators until he was transferred to Montreal. Previously he played for the Sicamous Eagles of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League, the Kelowna Rockets of the Western Hockey League and the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League. Weber has represented Canada at a number of events recognized by the International Federation of Ice Hockey, won a gold medal at the 2005 World Children's Ice Hockey Championship, a gold medal at the Championship.
