Shelby Charles Miller is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Chicago Cubs of Major League Baseball. Previously he played for St. John. Louis Cardinals, Atlanta Braves, Arizona Diamondbacks and Texas Rangers. Drafted by Brownwood High School Cardinals in the first round of the 2009 MLB Draft, Miller has become one of the most prized prospects in the sport. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including small pitcher of the Cardinals tournament of the year in 2010, the number one prospect baseball tournament of the US baseball team 2009-2011 and the All- poll. Star Futures Game 2010 and 2011. The fourth award, MLB.com's Kick- achievement of the month is the result of the MLB tournament that was first shut down in May 2013, one who beat the Colorado Rockies. After the 2014 season, Cardinals swapped Miller for the Braves. In 2015, Miller was named for the MLB All-Star Game. This season, the Braves have been trading Miller for Diamondbacks.
