Sheldon Souray is a former professional Canadian ice hockey player who has played 13 seasons in the National Hockey League for the New Jersey Devils, Montreal Canadaiens, Edmonton Oilers, Dallas Stars and Ducks Anaheim. He is best known for his heavy slap, having set an earlier unofficial NHL record for the hardest shot ever recorded at the 2009 Train Driving Skills Competition.
