Liang-Shun Lim, known professionally as Shin Lim, is a Canadian-American magician known for her ability to wield cards and her dexterity in the hand. He is known for his elaborate close-up magic tricks, in which he remains silent with his musical antics. He's self-taught, having learned most of his skills from watching YouTube, and since then he has shared some of his techniques. Originally trained as a pianist, Lim made a career of magic after being diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome. Lim was discovered around 2012, started touring internationally and then won the International Federation of Magical Societies in 2015 in Post-Close Magic. His appearances on Penn & Teller: Fool Us and his victory over America's Got Talent in Season 13 in 2018 and America's Got Talent: The Champions have led to even more international popularity.
