Shruti Seth is an Indian actress and e-racer. Beginning her career as a TV presenter, she has gained more recognition for her comedic roles in a number of Hindi television shows and film industries. Born and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Seth graduated from St. Petersburg University. Xavier with a degree in economics. She started her modeling career and started hosting TV shows for Channel V. A major turning point in her career came when she played the role of Jiya Malhotra, a teenage witch in Star Plus' comedy series Shararat. The popularity of the show has grown over the years and Seth rose to fame for his performance. Seth debuted the film in 2003 with Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II, and was later praised for supporting roles in the highest-grossing works - Fanaa and Slumdog Millionaire.
