Sky Tonia Ferreira is an American singer, songwriter, model and actress. As a teenager, Ferreira began uploading videos to Myspace of herself singing songs she wrote, leading to her being discovered by the Bloodshy & Avant producers and possibly recording contracts with Parlophone in 2009. She released her first expansion pack, As If!, In 2009. 2011, which incorporated electronic elements and dance music. However, Ferreira's extended second piece combines pop music with more streamlined song structures and features striking collaborations with Jon Brion and Shirley Manson, as well as the critically acclaimed song "Everything Is Embarrassing" was written by her with Dev Hynes. After several delays and disputes with her label, Ferreira Night Time's debut studio album, My Time was released on October 29, 2013 and marked a departure from her old style, Incorporating more experimental indie rock with synth-pop elements. Prior to that, the album was the first single "You're Not the One".
