Lars Bos, known as Snelle, is a Dutch rapper and singer born in Gorssel, the Netherlands, of Deventer origin. Bos studied at Herman Brood Academy. His first big hit was "Scars", which reached number 4 on the Dutch Singles Chart and was certified platinum. "Plankgas" is followed by a joint attack with Frenna. Born with a cleft lip, he has been bullied for his appearance. His song "Reünie", which reached the top of the Dutch charts, is an autobiographical story of what he experienced growing up. In June 2019, Snelle won the FunX Music Award in the "Best Song" category for the song "Scars". Her Vierentwintig album was nominated for IMPALA's European Independent Album of the Year award.

Snelle before fame

He began writing songs and rapping in the underground Netherlands rap scene in 2007. After self-releasing and producing numerous of his own songs, he released his debut album, Dear Boys, in 2018, which debuted on the Dutch Top 100 Albums list.
