Sofiane Zermani is an Algerian French rapper. He is also known as Fianso. Born in Saint-Denis, Seine-Saint-Denis, a northern suburb of Paris, he lived in nearby Stains until the age of 13 when he moved to Blanc-Mesnil. In 2011, he independently released the album Blacklist, then Blacklist II in 2013. In 2016, he released a series of videos called # JeSuisPasséChezSo inviting other little-known rappers to join. In November 2016, he was signed to Capitol Records, a subsidiary of Universal Music France. In January 2017, he released "My City is Cracked" with Bakyl. Album # JeSuisPasséChezSo, the same title as the previous series, reached number two on SNEP, French Album Chart. The album was certified Platinum in May 2017 for having sold more than 100,000 copies internationally. In May 2017, Sofiane released her album Bandit dirty, once again certified platinum.
