Somizi Buyani Mhlongo-Motaung is a South African actor, media personality and choreographer. In 1992 he appeared in the musical and political film, Sarafina! gained its notoriety. Mhlongo has become the main choreographer for many programs and events, including the opening and closing ceremony of the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the 2013 African Cup of Nations. After performing and choreographing for Sarafina !, Mhlongo has also appeared in a number of films, including the drama Cry, the Beloved Country as well as various TV shows including Idols South Africa and V Entertainment.
