He is best known as the host of the German television series Vivasion and TV Total, as well as the creator of the quiz show Schlag den Raab. He is also a songwriter, and several of his songs have been sung at the Eurovision Song Contest.

Stefan Konrad Raab is a German artist, producer, businessman, musician and former TV presenter. From 1999 to 2015, he hosted the late night comedy show Total TV and also premiered a number of other TV shows, such as Schlag den Raab and Bundesvision Song Contest. Raab started his television career by hosting comedy show Vivasion in 1993. He became famous in 1994 after he composed a successful national football coach, Berti Vogts. In the early 2010s, Raab was considered "the most powerful man in German TV entertainment". Raab is also known for his recurring role as producer, writer and performer of German submissions in the Eurovision Song Contest from 1998 to 2012. He was the initiator of the draw list National Compact Unser Star für Oslo, in which Germany won the 2010 competition in Oslo was determined.
