His other movie roles include Tommy in Snatch, Shang in Gangs of New York, Baby Face Nelson from Public Enemies, Anthony "Tony Pro" Provenzano in The Irishman, and Scrum in Pirates of the Caribbean movie On Stranger Tides and Dead. On television he has starred in the fifth series of the BBC One Line of Duty series as DS John Corbett, as Al Capone in the HBO Boardwalk Empire series, as Jacob Marley in the BBC / FX miniseries A Christmas Carol and DCI Taff Jones in ITV's Farm from the White House miniseries.
