Stephen Gordon Hendry is a professional Scottish snooker and commentator for the BBC and ITV. As a seven-time world champion, he's the most successful player in the modern era of the snooker world championship and holds the world number one record for most seasons. His first world title in 1990 at the age of 21 made him the youngest world champion in history, a record he still holds. Hendry also holds six master's titles and five British championship titles. His total of 18 wins in Triple Crown tournament just surpassed Ronnie O'Sullivan's 20. As one of three players to have won all three Triple Crown events in a single season, Hendry was the only one to achieve the feat twice, in 1989–90 and 1995–96. He has the second highest ranked title total after O'Sullivan. As a multi-stopper, Hendry has scored 776 breaks over a century of career and made the officially recognized 11 maximum breaks in professional play.
