Stephon Xavier Marbury is an American professional basketball coach and former player who is the head coach of Beijing's Royal boxers under the China Basketball Association. After playing for the first year for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, he was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks as the fourth choice in the 1996 NBA Draft, but was subsequently traded with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Marbury played in the NBA from 1996 to 2009, as well as a member of the New Jersey Nets, Phoenix Suns, New York Knicks, and the Boston Celtics. He was the NBA All-Star star with the Nets in 2001 and with the Suns in 2003, and was voted the third All-NBA team in 2000 and 2003. Marbury then played in the Chinese Basketball Association. from 2010 to 2018, won three CBA championships with Peking Duck in 2012, 2014 and 2015 .
