Stockard Channing is an American actress. She is known for her roles as Betty Rizzo in the movie Grease and First Lady Abbey Bartlet in the NBC television series The West Wing. She is also known for her role as Ouisa Kittredge in the theatrical and film version of Six Degrees of Sepilities. Channing won the 1985 Tony Award for Best Actress in Broadway Revival A Day in the Death of Joe Egg and won the Emmy Award for The West Wing and The Matthew Shepard Story, both in 2002. She won a Daytime Emmy Award in 2004 for her role in Jack. His films include The Fortune, The Big Bus, The Cheap Detective, Heartburn, Up Close & Personal, Practical Magic and Anything Else by Woody Allen. She also played the recurring role of Veronica Loy in the CBS drama The Good Wife.
