Scottish soccer player who began his senior career in 2010 with Dundee United as a central midfielder. At the age of 19, he debuted for Scotland at the Under-19 level.

Stuart Armstrong is a Scottish professional footballer who plays in midfield for Premier League club Southampton and the Scottish national team. Armstrong started his career with Dundee United, made his debut in 2010 and made nearly 150 appearances. Armstrong joined Celtic in February 2015 and helped them win four consecutive Scottish and National Championship titles. He then joined Premier League club Southampton in June 2018. Armstrong represented Scotland in the under-19s and under-21s and then made his international debut in 2017. He was voted Young Player of the Year SFWA in 2013 and was voted the Scottish PFA Team of the Year for the Scottish Premier League three times. He has also been nominated twice for the PFA Scottish Youth Player of the Year award.
