Suzanne Brigit Bird is a professional Israeli-American basketball player for the Seattle Storm team of the Women's National Basketball Association. Bird was first drafted by Storm in the 2002 WNBA Draft and holds the record for most assists in tournament history. She served as the NBA Denver Nuggets head office as head of basketball. She has also played for three teams in Russia. In high school, she was New York State Player of the Year, New York Daily News Player of the Year, and WBCA All-America. During her unbeaten final year at UConn in 2002, she won the Wade Trophy and the Naismith Prize as the College's Player of the Year. She finished her career at UConn, ranked first for three-point on-field and free-throw, second for assists and steals, and three-time Nancy Lieberman Award winner with as the nation's best leader, while leading your own team. at a record level of 114–4.
