Sunidhi Chauhan is an Indian singer. Born in Delhi, she started performing at local gatherings at the age of 4 and started her career at the age of 12, with the film Shastra. During the year, she won her first singing reality show Meri Awaz Suno and emerged after recording Mast's "Ruki Ruki Si Zindagi". He won the Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent and was nominated for Best Returning Vocalist. Her second breakthrough came in 2000, with Fiza's song "Mehboob Mere", she received another Filmfare nomination. Throughout her career, she has performed most of the songs in the category and has been called by the media "Queen of Category Songs". Chauhan received his third Filmfare nomination for Dhoom's song “Dhoom Machale”, followed by two more nominations next year for “Kaisi Paheli” and “Deedar De” by Parineeta and Dus.
