Kim Tae-yeon, known by the nickname Taeyeon, is a South Korean singer. She debuted as a member of the girl group Girls' Generation in 2007, becoming one of the best-selling artists in Korea and one of the most popular Korean girl groups in the world, and has since continued to participate in other SM Entertainment Projects, including Girls 'Generation-TTS, SM the Ballad and Girls' Generation-Oh! GG. In 2015, Taeyeon released their first Extended Piece I, which featured the number one single from Korea's Gaon Digital Chart. In 2016, she released SM Station's number one single "Rain", followed by her extended second track Why, topping the Gaon Album chart. Her debut studio album, My Voice, produced the first five singles "11:11", "Fine" and "Make Me Love You". In 2018, Taeyeon ventured into the Japanese music scene with her digital single "Stay", followed by the expansion play Voice of 2019 .
