Tai Woffinden is an English sprinter. In 2013 he became the World Motorway Champion and currently plays for WTS Wrocław at the Ekstraliga Polish Highway and at the Indianerna Kumla in Elitserien, Sweden. Until the end of 2014, he also played for Wolverhampton Wolves in the British Elite League, but announced in late 2014 that he would not be riding in England in 2015 in his quest to reclaim his world championship. Woffinden is the current England captain who finished 4th in the 2014 Speedway World Cup Final in Bydgoszcz, Poland, in 2016, the final took place at the Belle Vue National Stadium, Manchester, where the GB team is finalist from Poland.
