Tamika Devonne Catchings is a retired American professional basketball player who played her entire 15-year career for the National Women's Basketball Association's Indiana Fever. Catchings won a WNBA Championship, WNBA Most Valuable Player award, WNBA Finals MVP award, WNBA 5 Defense Player of the Year award, 4 Olympic gold medals and the WNBA New Army of the Year. She is one of 11 women to win all four awards. She was also selected to ten WNBA All-Star teams, 12 All-WNBA teams, 12 All-Defensive teams and to lead the league in eight interceptions. In 2011, Catchings was voted by fans as one of the WNBA's Top 15 All-Time Players. Tamika Catchings is a top scorer both near and far, as well as a home goal, ball handling and defender. After starring in Adlai E. Stevenson High School and Duncanville High School graduate Tamika Catchings becomes one of the stars of the University of Tennessee women's basketball team.
